A local woman took her 12-year-old daughter, Dannah, to participate in a pony show; it was meant to be an exciting day for this young lady.
You see, Dannah has been devoted to riding horses since she was 7 years old, and has a great talent for riding, jumping, and all that's involved in the sport. She's won many awards already in her short equestrian "career."
She worked hard, doing chores and odd jobs to save money to earn the things she needed for this sport, including her saddle, leathers, peacock stirrups, leather girth, and extra thick white English pony pads.
As Dannah and her mom were passing through Fort Worth Sunday, pulling the horses and equipment in the trailer, severe weather caused them to seek shelter.
